Lodging at the Historic Sacajawea Hotel

Twenty-nine guest rooms fill the hotel, all having been redesigned with luxury in mind. Each room features natural light, comfortable beds and luxurious linens and amenities. Bathrooms are spa-inspired yet retain their charm of yesteryear. One can choose a room with King, Queen, or Full beds, with handicap access or claw foot tubs...there is a room to fit the needs of every traveler. 

Lofty ceilings and unabashed character greet our guests in the historic lobby of the Sacajawea Hotel. Most of the original trim woodwork was refinished and new sections were painstakingly sawed and stained to match the originals. The ceiling light fixtures are all true to the building, as are the steam heat registers and the dark spruce beams in the 14 foot ceilings. The blocky arts and crafts period Lobby wallpaper was a reaction to the florid Victorian decor of the 1800's and was all hand inlaid.

Designed with Rustic Elegance in mind,dark, polished wood, overstuffed furniture and a friendly Front Desk staff to greet you all make walking into the Sacajawea Hotel a memorable experience.

Pets are considered part of the family, so don't leave home without them. We treat our pets with outstanding service, and are proud to be a pet-friendly hotel.

Our pet rooms are located on the second floor of the hotel, with two full beds. When booking your room, please indicate you are bringing your pet, a $25 pet-friendly fee will be applied to your room.

Shoshone Rooms

Our Shoshone Room’s category guestrooms offer the finest amenities, Italian linens, down comforters, down pillows, and signature Gilchrest and Soames bath products. Every room also features a newly remodeled tiled shower, flat screen televisions, direct dial telephones, hairdryers, wireless connectivity, and complimentary champagne at check-in. Hotel guests receive complimentary Breakfast in Bed, which include your choice of; fruit, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, granola, homemade pastries, muffins, juice, tea, and Italian roasted coffee.

Lewis & Clark Rooms

Our Lewis & Clark guest rooms are located in the newest addition of the hotel. Each room has two full beds with recently remodeled bathtubs and showers. Bedding, amenities, and continental breakfast are the same as our Shoshone rooms.

John Colter Rooms

Our more spacious John Colter category guest rooms are lavishly decorated. Enjoy newly remodeled tiled showers with more spacious bathrooms. Each king room also includes plush cotton bathrobes. Some of our king rooms have couches and more space to relax. Bedding, amenities, and continental breakfast are the same as our full rooms.

Charbonneau Suites

Our  two signature Charbonneau Suites are our largest and most luxurious room at the Sacajawea Hotel. The perfect place to relax and enjoy your evening in the historic hotel. Located on our top floor with the best view of our little town. The spacious suites have extra seating with nicely furnished couches. The large bathrooms have recently been remodeled with a tiled shower and plush bathrobes. Of course bedding, amenities, and continental breakfast are the same as our other luxury accommodations.
